Steward, Coach, Chief Beekeeper
David Carrithers’ dream has been to launch a “different type” of company. As President, Managing Director and Founder of ACI, he considers himself the “chief beekeeper”, managing the hive of business activity. He is a coach, mentor, and obstacle troubleshooter for ACI, helping to keep the team’s momentum going.
Carrithers has over 25 years of experience in marketing and new business development. As vice president of marketing at Centennial Contractors Enterprises, he led daily operations of its corporate brand management, market development, and sales programs. He created its first branding, marketing, sales and communications plans and set a sustainable growth objective. Among other achievements, he expanded Centennial’s business into nonfederal markets.
Champion of Business and Partnership Development
Jeff Crapo assists in growing and supporting the merchant partners for ACI. He is the chief network builder, ensuring that affinity partners, associations, and association members all find value in the strategic partnerships offered by ACI.
Crapo brings years of experience as an entrepreneur to the table. He was a cofounder of WebMiles, a coalition loyalty program and PointeCast, an online training system that was acquired by Helius, a Hughes company (NASDAQ:HUGH). He has a broad business background and has spearheaded business development for many companies, helping them to seize new business opportunities and achieve new levels of growth and profitability.
Champion of Marketing and Products
Giulietta Versiglia is the champion of marketing and products. She is responsible for ensuring that the products bring added value to associations, members, and partners alike.
Versiglia has an extensive background in marketing and communications and she has spent four years in the loyalty, incentive and gift card industry. As Corporate Intelligence Manager at Intelispend, she researched competitive trends in the prepaid and incentive industry and contributed to the analysis of international expansion strategies. At Maritz, she was one of the co-founders of the Maritz Institute, which helped to develop and execute the stages of the innovation process. She has also worked for TEXA and Telsey out of Treviso, Italy, and MicroStrategy out of Vienna, VA.
Champion of Marketing Development and Growth
Bill Gessert’s chief role at ACI is to find associations that are a good fit for its programs and establish beneficial relationships with them. Gessert is adept at earning the trust of his clients and developing relationships where everyone benefits from doing business together. In his first efforts at ACI, Gessert developed a guide for documenting the elements of associations that are a good fit for the partnerships that ACI.
Champion of the Association Experience
Vince Duobinis handles customer/client services and support. This includes taking an active role in monitoring each program’s success and handling customers’ questions and concerns.
